Sharing and caring

Community Service

Vedic culture asks each of us to return a tenth of what we earn to society. Sanghamitra itself takes no donations — Sreenivasa will point you to organizations he has personally verified, and he runs drives of his own.

Drives

Food, books and clothing

Collections for families who need them, gathered and given locally.

School fees

Paid to the school, never to the family

Fees for children in India go directly to the school, so the money cannot be misused. A network of people he trusts there checks each case.

Telugu classes

With SiliconAndhra Manabadi

The Telugu classes are run by SiliconAndhra Manabadi, a separate organization — Sanghamitra hosts and helps. Ask and he will show you the way in.

Presentations

Talks for the community

Presentations on Vedic mathematics and the older arts, for temples, libraries and schools.

Food donation

Meals for shelters and schools in Visakhapatnam, with the Pranic Healers Association.

Since 2018, meals have been cooked and served through the Pranic Healers Association of Visakhapatnam: at the shelters for the homeless in TSR Complex and Bheemnagar, at Hidden Sprouts Special School in MVP Colony, and in a children's dining hall. In the 2020 lockdown the food went out in packets.
